      A decent compilation of original and traditional folk songs that allow the listener to see their influence on Bob Dylan's early balladry. Some of the songs, however, are very brief, and almost come off as hurried demo versions, in which the guitars seem to be pushing the : Collectables Records.   He was out there for 3 or 4 years, and told the Hammond brothers that that was where he learned his songs.
